Tuesday's Teaser
Similar to last week's teaser, a correct solution involves a number of algebra skills. Treat them like fractions since that's what they are. Use your factoring and simplifying tools and you should be successful. Solutions with work included by Friday evening. Good Luck.

Quadratic Formula Test Results
Here's the results (except for 2nd period) of our last test.
We're going to do this test again soon. I know you care about your grades, but I don't. I care about what you learn; what you know now that you didn't before.
Grades are a make-believe number that nobody cares about ever, once you leave school. Knowledge is a part of who you are. It helps you make better decisions and live a more fulfilling life. So...we'll take this test again, and average the twogrades scores.

Class Summary: March 31, 2014
Test day today. Before that, however, we practiced a more efficient method of solving trinomials with a leading coefficient > 1. We also compared and contrasted linear and quadratic equations and their graphs. Lots of important infomation in the short slideshow today, as we will be using all of today's concepts going forward.
