Class Summary: February 25th
Introduction to factoring. We begin a new unit with an overview of factoring and a focus on factoring using the Greatest Common Factor (GCF).
My recommendation is to download the Open Office suite of programs and not deal with the crash happy power point viewer.

Watch the Asteroid Fly-by Live
If you happen to be up Saturday morning just before 9:00 am, you can watch a live stream of the asteroid 2012DA14 as it makes the closest approach to Earth ever for a natural object. In fact, it will be closer to Earth than most satellites. The live stream can be viewed here.
As the pass will occur during the daytime here, this is the only way to view the huge space rock in real time.

Final Exam Scores
Your 2nd Quarter grades will be posted tomorrow, but for now, those interested can check their final exam scores. Since we used two bubble sheets for our answers, there are two scores listed. The first score, the one with 10 questions, is found here. The second part, with 5 questions, is found here.
The codes are mixed up somewhat, so as not to give any identities away. Just scroll until you find your code. Hope your percent has three digits!
